Michael Clarke - Cricketer
Michael Clarke is just one of the world class sports people supported by Slazenger. His natural talent led him to get into the New South Wales team at the age of 18. He then made his international debut during the 2002-2003 VB series.
With a particular liking for forceful shots through the covers and mid-off, he was so at home in international cricket that it took four innings and 208 runs before any team managed to dismiss him. On the 2004 tour of India, Michael scored 155 runs on debut in Bangalore which has seen him retain his test spot for the upcoming New Zealand and Pakistan 2004/2005 series in Australia.
Slazenger is also the proud sponsor of Michael's district club: Wests - which competes in the Sydney premier district competition, in which all the players train and play in Slazenger gear.

Basketball
Slazenger is also proud to be the major sponsor of the Bulleen Melbourne Boomers in the WNBL. With star players such as Katrina Hibbert, Larissa Cavanagh and Hollie Grima and the force of Slazenger, the Boomers are finals bound in 2004/2005 season.

Netball - V.I.S Netball Program.
The V.I.S netball program is affiliated with The Melbourne Kestrels and The Melbourne Phoenix. Slazenger is the Major sponsor of the V.I.S netball program which enables the two teams to compete in the National Netball competition. Slazenger will shortly have available in stores such as Rebel: Netball skirts that are endorsed by the V.I.S.
